why tennessee?

Home » About » Why Tennessee

It’s absolutely beautiful.

Mountains on one side, 16,000 acres of lake on the other, and four real seasons without the extremes. From the ease of building to the ease of living here, tax-free Tennessee offers an elevated lifestyle—more space, more freedom, and more of what makes life worth living.

Water, water everywhere.

Waterfalls, streams, rivers, and lakes fed by the Smokies. Power or paddle, take your pick.

And yes, affordable.

Building costs, property taxes, groceries, a round of golf: most things cost less here, some a lot less.

NO STATE INCOME TAX.

If you’re weighing Texas or Florida, weigh Tennessee: the same tax answer, a lower cost of living, and a better climate. We encourage you to consult with your financial advisor about your specific situation.

Close to everything.

THE GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS

With over 520,000 acres of mountain wilderness, 2,900 miles of streams, 200 waterfalls, and 800 miles of hiking trails, little wonder this is the most visited national park in the country, with more visitors than the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Yellowstone combined.

Our Lake: Tellico

Lenoir City is home to three lakes, ours is Tellico. You can meander over to Fort Loudoun and Watts Bar but there is plenty right here – nearly 16,000 acres and 350-plus miles of shoreline fed by the clean, sparkling streams of the Smoky Mountains. Tellico wraps around WindRiver, with five miles of shoreline to paddle around.
